DETROIT (WKZO) — Detroit police say that an unrelated arrest has turned up information pertaining to last month’s murder of a 16-year-old Grosse Pointe girl.
On December 22nd a man armed with an AK-47 walked up to a car full of teens and opened fire, killing Paige Stalker and injuring three other teens. Police have not divulged the details of the new information yet. They are only saying now that they are moving away from looking at robbery as a motive and are pursuing other possibilities.
Police say this latest arrest in an unrelated case is offering them new insight into the shooting.
