WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) — President Obama heads to Knoxville, Tennessee Friday to highlight education initiatives. Obama is wrapping-up a three-state trek to promote the economy. He is sounding out themes for his upcoming State of the Union address.
In Phoenix Thursday, the President said the U.S. is on the comeback trail following the deep recession. He noted that more jobs were created last year than in any year since he first took office. Obama also cheered the recovery of the housing sector.
In Detroit Wednesday, the President touted the resurgence of the U.S. auto and manufacturing sectors.
