KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University head hockey coach Andy Murray says he’s hoping his Broncos can snap an eight-game losing streak at home against Colorado College this weekend.
“We know what we need to do and we have some individual performance levels that must come up,” Murray said. “I take full responsibility for that.”
Murray says the Tigers are showing life, winners of their last three after dropping their first 13.
“We’re going to have to make sure that we won’t get outworked by a high-energy team,” Murray said.
Puck drop at Lawson Arena on Friday and Saturday is at 7 p.m. The game can be heard on 96.5 WZOX-FM in Kalamazoo.
