KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan head hockey coach Andy Murray says his Broncos will face a tough non-conference challenge on the road this weekend against Clarkson.
“They’ve got three defensemen, I think, that could play in the National Hockey League,” Murray said on Thursday on WKZO-AM’s Kalamazoo’s Morning News. “They got some really good forwards, they’re a hard-working team and they’re sitting at 3-1 right now.”
The Golden Knights beat New Hampshire 4-3 last Saturday. The Broncos are heading to New York after taking the weekend off.
Puck-drop for Friday’s game is at 7 p.m. You can listen to that game on our sister station, 96.5 WZOX-FM.
