CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A man who had a medical problem and pulled off M-40 and directly into a pond had to be fished out by a passerby and then his vehicle was pulled out by a tow truck.
Cass County Deputies say 51-year-old Alfred Hooker of Elkhart, Indiana was northbound when he says he became dizzy, tried to pull over and ended up in the water.
He was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation, even though deputies say he was belted in and had not been drinking.
