HOWARD TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A little too much green beer may have been to blame for a rollover crash that sent two men from Niles to the hospital.
Blood Alcohol tests have been ordered on the driver of a vehicle that went out of control at about 8:45 Saturday night along M-60 near Reum Street in Cass County’s Howard Township.
Deputies say that a 34-year-old man left the pavement on the divided roadway, went into the culvert that separates the two lanes and rolled the vehicle.
Both the driver and his 58-year-old passenger were taken to South Bend Memorial for treatment. The crash remains under investigation and charges may be filed.
