KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Public Safety is investigating a couple of drive by shootings on Princeton Avenue near Drexel Place on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
The first one occurred around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday when a 24-year-old showed up at Bronson Emergency with a leg wound and said he was sitting on his porch when a white sedan drove by and several bullets hit the porch and his leg. He is stable.
Public Safety officers were close enough to hear the second shooting early Thursday morning at about 1:20 a.m.
They rushed over to find a 27-year-old in a parked car that had been punctured by several bullets. The driver was not hit.
The gunman had already left the area.
