LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — Sue Snyder is urging Michiganders to take a pledge to end sexual assault, as April is Sexual Assault Awareness month.
The First Lady is hoping to get 4,000 residents to sign “The My Pledge Campaign” at endcampussexualassault.com and promise to listen to survivors, help prevent sexual assault, and change the culture.
Snyder also teased that a meeting may be coming to the Kalamazoo-area to continue that statewide culture change.
At last year’s Summit, Snyder’s workgroup produced and distributed over 15,000 resource handbooks for sexual assault survivors, families, and friends.
