BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A dead man was found lying in a pool of blood near warehouses on Oceola St.at about 3 pm on Saturday.
Detectives in Battle Creek are treating it as suspicious until autopsy reports give them a cause of death.
They say there was no obvious sign of trauma on the body that would suggest foul play.
They have identified the 57-year-old as a local resident but have not released his name.
The body was found by a man walking through the area Saturday afternoon.
