KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There were protestors outside Planned Parenthood in Kalamazoo, which by itself, isn’t unusual, but Friday one group was on a specific mission.
Rob Karrer with the Citizens for Pro-life Society says the media and the Prosecutor seem to be ignoring the death of a Battle Creek woman who they contend died from complications following an abortion at the clinic in Kalamazoo last summer.
They say even the death report they were able to obtain from the medical examiner was heavily redacted.
Planned Parenthood’s Ruth Lednicer responded saying that they extend their deepest sympathies to her loved ones, but says there are privacy laws and they aren’t permitted to talk about this, or even confirm she was a patient.
The pro-life group had about a dozen protestors appear for the demonstration Friday morning.
