DETROIT (WKZO-AM) — Suspected mass-murderer Jason Dalton has filed a handwritten lawsuit in an east Michigan federal court charging that Uber, the ride-sharing app, ruined his life.
Dalton is seeing $10 million in damages.
The 45-year-old claims the company never paid him overtime, called him up late to work, never invited him to any corporate parties and never gave him a holiday bonus. He also called it a “hostile work environment” that prevented him from spending time with his children.
Dalton is facing murder charges after allegedly killing six on Feb. 20. His wife filed for divorce after the attack. Dalton, in the suit, claims that Uber is entirely to blame for that.
He doesn’t mention it in the lawsuit, he told investigators after his arrest that the devil appeared in the same app that gave him directions on where to pick up passengers, and instead gave him instructions to kill, taking over his mind and body.
He is currently undergoing a psychiatric exam.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas has confirmed the lawsuit is a hoax.
