LANSING (WKZO-AM) — Lt. Gov. Brian Calley says he’s going to cast a vote for Ohio Gov. John Kasich during Tuesday’s primary.
The Republican said Ohio’s economy has boomed since 2010, thanks to work done by the Kasich administration.
“They’ve added over 400,000 new jobs, at the same time they’ve balanced the budget and have cut taxes by $5 billion,” Calley said. “This is the exact the sort of person that has the experience we need to be the next commander in chief.”
Gov. Rick Snyder has not endorsed a candidate, nor will he.
Recent polls have Kasich surging, with one poll putting him narrowly in front of long-time Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.
