KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University and Cooley Law School have been formally linked for a while now, but have maintained mostly separate accommodations, managements and finances.
On Monday, they are expected to sign agreements that will bring them a little closer together with the launch of law classes on the WMU campus in Kalamazoo.
In fact, the first classes in environmental law and employment law were included in the spring term catalog as pilot offerings for what is expected to be many more courses to be offered in future semesters.
There is already a new legal studies minor at WMU.
