DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Here is another sign that Michigan is being taken seriously by the Presidential candidates this election cycle. One day after Democrats announced they would be holding a debate on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Flint, the Fox News Channel announced it will be hosting a Republican debate in Detroit on Thursday March 3. The time and place is yet to be announced for both events.
The Michigan Presidential Primary will follow on Tuesday March 8. The last time Fox hosted a debate, Donald Trump refused to participate because of an ongoing feud with the network and Megyn Kelly. Some say it hurt him in Iowa, where he finished second.
