LANSING (WKZO) — There are more legal problems for Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat. Two former aides are now suing them, claiming they were fired for refusing to participate in a cover-up of their extra-marital affair and for letting members of Speaker Kevin Cotter’s staff know what the two lawmakers were doing.
The Detroit News reports that Keith Allard and Ben Graham claim they were wrongfully terminated in violation of their Whistleblower Status.
A subsequent house investigation into Courser’s and Gamrat’s activities revealed all sorts of misconduct and misuse of public resources, and not all of it was related to the affair.
The lawsuit was filed in Ingham County Circuit Court on Friday.
