LANSING (WKZO-AM) — Nearly $13 million will be going toward training over 13,000 job-seekers and workers for in-demand technical positions statewide through the Michigan Skilled Trades Trading Fund.
It was announced by Gov. Rick Snyder this week.
Established two years ago to help fill the need for such specialized staffers, more than 350 employers are taking advantage of the program for fiscal year starting in 2016.
