GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – A bomb threat was made to Gerald R. Ford International Airport early this morning. According to airport spokesperson Tara Hernandez, the threat came in at 4:03 a.m. and was specific to the Ford Airport’s terminal building.
Although it is not clear how the threat was made, the Michigan State Police did a thorough search of the terminal and curb front area with canine teams and found no threats.
The West Michigan Aviation Academy and all affected tenants were notified and flight operations are running as normal
