KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Kalamazoo County Commissioners have interviewed their two finalists for Administrator and will take a week to mull over what they want to do next.
They say both Jeffrey Davis and David Benda have remarkable backgrounds and impressive qualifications.
No discussion was held after yesterday’s interview.
Board Vice-Chair Jeff Heppler says they will talk next Tuesday at their regularly scheduled Committee of the Whole meeting. He says at that time he expects the board will pick their favorite and contract talks will begin with the winner.
A few commissioners expressed disappointment that there weren’t more finalists. Their third pick bowed out after it was too late to replace her.
