LANSING (WKZO) — Its not exactly gun control. State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker wants to lift the state sales tax on gun locks and gun safes.
She plans to introduce the legislation this week.
She says the use of such devices can reduce accidental shootings, but even they can’t eliminate them.
Police agencies in Oakland County will go one step further and give away three-thousand gun trigger locks on Friday.
