DETROIT (WKZO) — This year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit is being touted as a success.
Attendance topped 2014 by more than five-thousand, as 808-thousand-775 tickets were sold for the event that wrapped up on Sunday. The figures were released by the NAIAS on Thursday, with Chairman Scott LaRiche saying they have “seen the confidence and felt the commitment that auto manufacturers have placed in our show, and in our city” over the past two weeks.
NAIAS Executive Director Rod Alberts added the Detroit show continues to play a vital role in the global product launch strategies of all automakers, foreign and domestic.
