DETROIT (WKZO) — Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Evan Reed will be back in Wayne County court for a second trial on charges of criminal sexual conduct.
Last November Judge Kenneth King dismissed charges against Reed, who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at the Motor City Hotel in early 2014. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office appealed Judge King’s decision and Judge Michael Callahan reversed the verdict and ordered the charges be reinstated.
Reed is scheduled to be back in court February 4th.
