ANN ARBOR (WKZO) — The third and final suspect in the murder of Schoolcraft medical student Paul DeWolf has been found guilty by a jury in Ann Arbor.
Joei Jordan threw the dice, opting to go with a jury trial and now faces Mandatory Life without parole for the Felony Murder conviction even though he did not pull the trigger.
He was also convicted of home invasion and conspiracy.
Co-conspirator Shaquille Jones agreed to plead to second degree murder and could be out in 25-years.
Dejeon Franklyn, who was holding the gun when it went off, killing DeWolf is already serving life without parole.
The three were burglarizing the fraternity house where DeWolf lived when the young doctor surprised them, and in a brief struggle was shot and killed. Jordan will be sentenced March 11.
