KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Nearly a thousand high school students and their parents turned out at the Expo Center Tuesday night to take a look at some of the offerings that students can take that will make them more attractive to employers.
Everything from auto repair to robot repair, from radio to computer technology to the arts is available.
Education for Employment Director Deb Miller says Early Middle School is the hot new program that will earn a student two years of college credit for free.
Its a five year course of study that will produce a high school diploma, a 2-year associates degree or certificate as a qualified machinist, PC technician, or welder.
It starts this fall in all Kalamazoo County School Districts.
