DETROIT (WKZO) -- A 19-year-old man is suspected in the shooting death of his mother's fiance on Detroit's east side.
Forty-one-year-old Johnny Clyburn was murdered at his home on Woodhall Street Tuesday morning after he returned home from an overnight shift at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Detroit Police Deputy Chief Steve Dolunt says it appears that the person allegedly responsible had problems before the confrontation.
Clyburn was an active duty member of the 127th Air Force Security Forces Squadron. The teenager was due to move out of state in June to live with his father, according to Clyburn's family.
