4:05pm...Cruz grounds out and Tigers win 7-5!

4:02pm...Cruz up as the tying run. He's already gone deep today

4:01pm...Davis walks on full count. Should have been out, but ump called it ball 3 and not strike 3

3:58pm...One out away from the Tigers' 8th straight road win.

3:53pm...O's will have Machado, Jones and Davis up this inning

3:51pm...Miggy strikes out looking to the end the Tigers' half of the 9th. Nathan enters the game looking for his 10th save. 

3:49pm...Nathan up in the pen, getting ready for the 9th.

3:47pm...Brian Matusz now pitching for the O's to start the 9th. He'll face Davis, Kinsler and Cabrera. 

3:45pm...But he flies out to end the inning. A huge sign of relief for Joba. Onto the 9th with the Tigers up 7-5.

3:44pm...Markakis up with a chance to tie or take the lead. 

3:42pm...Joba walks Lough to load the bases with two outs. 

3:38pm...Clevenger singles giving the O's runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Go ahead run at the plate. 

3:33pm...Hardy singles off Joba with one down, bringing the tying run to the plate. One down

3:28pm...Patton gets Holaday to pop out to second, then Worth grounds out to second to end the Tigers' 8th. Joba enters the game as we head to the O's half of the 8th. Tigers up 7-5

3:25pm...Kelly strikes out trying to hold back check swing. 

3:23pm...O's have a new pitcher, lefty Troy Patton, to face the lefty Don Kelly .Joba is warming up in the pen and will enter the game when the O's come to bat in the 8th

3:20pm...Krol gets Davis to ground out to whoever was covering short. Tigers had shift on again for Davis. 7-5 Tigers heading into the 8th. 

3:14pm...Adam Jones safe on infield single. His third hit of the game. Al is also done for the day. Records two outs, one via the strikeout, and allows one hit. Lefty Ian Krol set to enter the game to face fellow lefty Chris Davis. Runner on first, two down, 7-5 Tigers bottom of 7th. 

3:07pm...Jackson strikes out as we head to the stretch. Al is entering the game. JV's final line. 6IP, 6H, 5ER, 3BB and 4Ks. He tossed 110 pitches and is line for the win, which would be his 7th in eight career games at Camden Yards. Still a lot of baseball left. 

3:06pm...V-Mart steals second, giving the Tigers 35 steals this season. Tigers had 35 steals in all of 2013.

3:03pm...following a Miggy ground ball out, V-Mart singles to right on a 3-0 count...Also Gonzalez is done for the game before the inning starts. His final line 2IP, 2H, 2R, 1ER, 1BB, 1K. 

 3:02pm...Al is warming up in the pen. JV is most likely done for the day. Might get a chance in the 7th and Al is warming up as a precaution. 

2:58pm..JV sets down the O's in order. He's at 110 pitches. We'll see if he comes out for the 7th. Tigers still up 7-5 as we enter the last third of the game.

2:50pm...Davis goes deep with his third home run of the year, a solo shot. Tigers up 7-5 as we head to the bottom half of the sixth. 

2:40pm..Cruz belts a three-run bomb to left field. Tigers up 6-5. Inning over after JV gets ground ball out. Heading to the sixth. Guess I was wrong about that pitching duel I called earlier...

2:38pm...Davis follows with RBI single. 6-2 Tigers, runners on the corners with two down and Nelson Cruz up. 

2:36pm...WIth runners on 1st and 2nd, Adam Jones drills a single past a diving Kelly for the first run for the Orioles. 6-1 Tigers bottom 5, runners on 1st and 2nd two down

2:31pm...O's attempt hit and run but Markakis grounds out to second and advances the runner to second with two down. Machado up, he's 0-2 with a strikeout today. 

2:30pm..Lough singles for the O's. One on, one out. 

2:25pm...Kelly with RBI single, but JD is tagged out trying to advance to third. Tigers up 6-0 as we head to the bottom of the fifth. 

2:19pm...JD hits one back to Gonzalez who throws the ball into center field attempting to start the double play. Runners on 1st and 2nd, one down with Jackson up. 

2:18pm...V-Mart walks on five pitches. One down for JD Martinez 

2:14pm...Gausman done for the day. Miguel Gonzalez enters the game for the O's. Gets to face Cabrera, V-Mart and JD in the fifth. Tough first three batters for Gonzalez who has been pulled from the O's starting rotation. 

2:10pm...JV gets Hardy to foul out to the catcher and then Clevenger to ground out to short. No damage done. JV at 71 pitches thru 4. 5-0 Tigers after 4 innings. 

2:07pm...JV throws one behind Cruz. Warnings issued from the home plate ump. Cruz reponds with infield single. Runners on the corners with one down. 

2:04pm...Chris Davis walks, JV's 2nd of the game. One on, one out for the O's in the bottom of the 4th.  

1:58pm...Kinsler flies out to deep left center to end the inning but the damage has been done. Tigers up 5-0 as we head to the bottom of the 4th.

1:55pm...Davis with sac fly to center. Tigers up 5-0

1:54pm...Gausman bounces one in the dirt advancing Holaday to third. 

1:53pm...Worth with the perfect bunt, safe at first and scores Kelly from third. Tigers up 4-0 with runners on first and second, one down. Davis up looking for more. 

1:52pm...Holaday with his second hit of the game, scoring Jackson from third. Tigers up 3-0 with one down in the 4th, runners on the corners. Holaday now 4 for 8 with RISP this season. 

1:51pm...Shortly after the last update, Tigers with the double steal. Now one steal away from 2013's total. Jackson on third, Kelly on 2nd

1:49pm...35 games into the 2014 season, the Tigers are just three steals away from 2013's total

1:47pm...Kelly walks. Runners on 1st and 2nd with one down. Guasman at 72 pitches and counting. Holaday up who is 3 for 7 with RISP this season.  

1:43pm...Trainers are out looking at Schoop's finger. Looks to have a cut on the tip of his finger. Seems to be alright. 

1:41pm...JD Martinez walks after full count. Jackson then grounds to third and should have been doubled up but Schoop's throw to first was off target and Jackson is safe at first. 

1:37pm...Machado strikes out swinging. JV has three K's thru three. Tigers up 2-0 end of three.

1:35pm...Markakis hits chopper off of JV's glove but is still out at 1st. Markakis is 0-10 in the series against the Tigers. Runner on 2nd, two outs with Machado up

1:30pm..Verlander issues his first walk of the game. One down in the 3rd.

1:22pm...Miggy singles over Hardy's head at short. Two runs score. Miggy's has bounced back extremely well after his "slow start" 2-0 Tigers  

1:20pm...After Davis popped out to short, Kinsler hits one off of Gausman for an infield single. Had the ball not hit Gausman, Holaday would have scored easiler. Bases loaded for Miggy. 

1:18pm...Danny Worth singles to right. Runners on first and second with one down. Raja up. Tigers need to get a run here. They were 1-3 with RISP last night. The one hit, Miggy's home run to give the Tigers the lead in the 9th. 

1:16pm...Orioles' 2nd baseman Schoop makes nice diving stop but can't get Holiday at first. Tigers with their first hit of the game. 

1:10pm...JV strikes out Clevenger to end the 2nd inning. JV with two K's and is at 31 pitches, 19 for strikes. 0-0 end of 2. 

1:02pm...Jackson flies out to deep center to end the Tigers' second. Gausman has set down all six Tigers he has faced. Gausman at 33 pitches thru two. 

12:59pm...JD Martinez may have tweeked his back on the first pitch he saw from Gausman. Doesn't seem like it's effecting his swing. Just something to keep an eye on. Martinez ends up flying out to right for the second out. 

12:52pm...Verlander allows a single to Adam Jones but gets Chris Davis to ground out to "2nd" to end the inning. Tigers played the shift perfectly. Had the shift not been in place, Davis would have singled easily. 0-0 after 1. 

12:43pm...Cabrera grounds out to end the Tigers' 1st. 

12:41pm...Back to back strikeouts for Gausman, who gets Kinsler looking. Kid is looking great so far.

12:39pm...Gausman off to a good start as he strikes out Davis on three pitches

12:35pm...Just minutes away from first pitch. Couple of notes before the game starts. Justin Verlander is a career 6-0 in seven starts at Camden Yards. Orioles starter Kevein Gausman is making his first start of the season. Gausman was 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA in six starts with AAA-Norfolk
