WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- The powerful chairman of the House Intelligence Committee will not seek re-election.
Michigan Republican Mike Rogers will launch a new syndicated radio show after his term ends this year. Rogers is a former FBI agent who was briefly considered as a candidate to run the CIA in President Obama's second term.
Rogers is concluding his seventh term in Congress. He pondered a run for the Senate earlier this year, but decided to remain in the House.
Rogers spoke with Michigan's Big Show starring Michael Patrick Shiels Friday morning. The full interview can be heard at the top of this post.
