ZEELAND (WKZO) -- The office furniture industry is on its way back from the depths of the recession. Zeeland-based Herman Miller reports its third-quarter profit was up by 17.6-percent, with earnings of 19.4-million dollars. Customers ordering early to avoid a price hike on February 3rd get the credit for the increased profits. New orders for the quarter were up over 21-percent to 464-million dollars.
