Clinton Township woman charged for allegedly dangling infant outside second floor window

CLINTON (WKZO) -- A 29-year-old Clinton Township woman is facing charges for allegedly kidnapping and then holding an eight-month-old baby outside a second-floor window. Monday, Parisienne Clark was arraigned on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping and first-degree child abuse.

According to authorities, Clark took the baby girl Friday morning from the home of an 18-year-old who was watching the infant, and then went back to her apartment. The teen and her boyfriend went to Clark's home, where they kicked in the front door and allegedly saw the woman dangling the baby outside the second-floor window. The man grabbed the baby and Clark jumped out of the window, reportedly breaking her ribs and injuring her neck.

Clark's relatives say she is bipolar with suicidal tendencies and has not been taking her medication. She is being held in the Macomb County Jail and is due back in court for a preliminary exam March 26th.
