CASS COUNTY (WKZO) -- For the second time in the last few days, a snowmobile rider wearing a helmet in Cass County has escaped serious injury when they lost control and crashed.
Deputies say Daniel Castellanos was cutting across the side of a hill on private property near M-40 and Hoffman St. when the snowmobile overturned, and he suffered minor injuries.
He was taken to Three Rivers E.R. for treatment.
They say alcohol was not a factor.
Thursday Robert Frick of Edwardsburg also suffered minor injuries when his snowmobile went out of control and overturned on a trail near Dutch Settlement Road. He was also wearing a helmet.
