KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- This weekend, everyone gets a chance to be Irish in Kalamazoo. Renee Newman, with Discover Kalamazoo, says that the fun starts at 4:40 on Friday afternoon, and everyone invited.
"This goes on Friday and Saturday," Newman told WKZO. "They've got the food, the spirits, the vendors, the food, the reddest hair, greenest eyes, and most freckles, contest. It's going to be a lot of fun."
On hand for the two day event will be live music, dancing, plenty to drink. The first performer on Friday will be the Celtic group Bog Road, and everyone's asked to bring a food donation to the festival with them so it can be given to Kalamazoo's Loaves and Fishes.
