KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- One of Kalamazoo’s newest Microbreweries is already seeking permits to expand into wine and spirits as well.
Monday night, Kalamazoo City Commissioners will consider a request from Rupert’s Brewhouse for state permits to also start making their own wine and hard cider, and to get a distiller’s permit.
The owners want to give their customers more choices, according to the memo supplied to commissioners.
Rupert’s is located at the corner of Michigan and Academy.
The Michigan Liquor Control Commission will make the final determination.
