COLON (WKZO) -- Coming up this week, it's the annual Colon Magic Festival. The town of Colon only has about eleven hundred residents, but it's still the site of one of the most popular magic festivals in the United States. This year's event will run from Wednesday through Saturday. Rick Fisher, with the Fab Magic Company, says that they're hoping to see a lot of kids come out.
"That's the kind of people we're trying to draw back to Colon again," Fisher told WKZO. "So, Wednesday night and Thursday night, to make it very affordable, we're offering a family pack. You can bring up to seven family members to the Wednesday and Thursday magic show for 25 dollars. The first 50 boys and girls to come to the magic show on Wednesday through Saturday get a free top hat and magic wand."
This is the eleventh year for the festival, which will feature magic shows, workshops, and plenty of other entertainment. You can find a full schedule of events at ColonMichiganMagic.com.
