GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) - The U.S. is confirming that it was a ground-to-air missile that brought down that Malaysian flight over the Ukraine Thursday. The Russians are blaming the Ukrainians who are blaming Russian Separatists and pointing the finger at Russia for supporting the separatists.

Grand Valley Terrorism Expert Jonathan White says this will further chill the already frosty relations between the U.S. and Russia.

The U.S. is calling for a cease fire so the bodies can be recovered and investigators can begin their work without fear.

The  U.S. is sending investigators from the FBI and the NTSB.

Vice President Joe Biden commented on the crash of Malaysian Flight 17 during a previously scheduled speech in Detroit yesterday...saying they still don’t know all the details.

He said he talked to the President of the Ukraine, pledging to send what ever experts they could to investigate the crash.

He spoke to thousands at the Netroot Nations conference at Wayne State University.
