MINNEAPOLIS (1660 the Fan)- Yoenis Cespedes had to wait through a rain delay, but he eventually won the 2014 Home Run Derby last night defeating Cincinnati Reds slugger 9-1 in the finals.

Cespedes is the first back-to-back winner of the Home Run Derby since Ken Griffey Jr. won back in 1998-99.

Cespedes defeated Jose Bautista in the semi-finals and Todd Fraizer defeated Giancarlo Stanton to advance to the finals.  Stanton was shutout in the semi's.

Cespedes almost didn't make it out of the first round as he had to win in a tie-breaker against Baltimore's Adam Jones.
