LANSING (WKZO) -- Two new polls on the gubernatorial race in Michigan both show Governor Rick Snyder leading Democrat Mark Schauer, but one is considerably tighter. A survey by Vanguard Public Affairs gives the incumbent a 43-percent to 35-percent edge, while an NBC News poll shows Snyder up 46-percent to 44-percent, which is a dead heat. Analysts at RealClearPolitics.com are now calling the Michigan race a "toss up," moving it out of the "lean Republican" list.
