DETROIT (WKZO) -- As July goes, this week is going to be colder in Michigan. The weather graphics from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration show a weather pattern that looks a lot like the polar vortex that gripped Michigan over the winter, but it's not. The cooldown is being caused by a typhoon in Japan that changed the path of the jet stream to send cold air into the U.S. from Canada.
