GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- The EF-1 tornado that hit Wyoming and Kentwood on Sunday brought a big price tag. According to Kent County officials, the tornado did roughly 4.5-million dollars in damage to private property. The National Weather Service says the twister had wind speeds up to 100 miles an hour, and formed from the ground up. Nearly two dozen people are still living in shelters due to the damage.
