The Hoadley campaign released this infographic Friday.

KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Democrat Jon Hoadley raised 60,675-dollars in 2013 to fund his run in Michigan's 60th State House district.  Hoadley calls it an "outpouring of grassroots support" that has been "overwhelming."

Over 25-percent of contributions were under 25-dollars each, and the average contribution was $95.55. A report from the campaign says 327 contributions came in from across Michigan, with 147 of them from Kalamazoo.

Hoadley has so far received endorsements from Kalamazoo City Commissioner Stephanie Moore and Democratic Party leader Jocelyn Benson. Organizations endorsing his campaign include the Kalamazoo Alliance For Equality PAC, the Equality Michigan Pride PAC, and the National Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund.

Hoadley is running for the seat now held by Kalamazoo Democrat Sean McCann, who is vacating the seat to run for State Senate.   County Board Vice Chair David Buskirk is also running for the 60th District seat and will square off against Hoadley and any other Democrats who file to run in the August primary.
