LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan State Police will be holding special testing opportunities for new trooper recruits around the state in an effort to recruit a diverse pool of applicants.

They plan testing sessions in Detroit, Flint and Kalamazoo next month for the 126th Trooper School which is scheduled to begin in June.

A battery of tests will be given that measure an applicant’s aptitude for law enforcement, knowledge of Michigan law and their physical fitness.

The tests will be adminstered at the Kalamazoo Valley Community College campus in Texas Township on February 22nd.
