HOWELL (WKZO) -- Jury selection is under way in the case of a man accused of randomly shooting at motorists along the I-96 corridor in the fall of 2012. Forty-four-year-old Raulie Casteel, of Wixom, was in Livingston County Circuit Court Tuesday.
Casteel faces charges of terrorism, assault with intent to murder, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent and discharging a weapon from a vehicle. He is accused of shooting at people in four counties during a two-week period in October of 2012.
Casteel was charged separately in Oakland County and in October pleaded no contest but mentally ill to multiple charges. He is scheduled to be sentenced at the end of the month.
