UNDATED (WKZO) -- Michigan’s weather rollercoaster continues to roll. A few days ago we were enduring some of the coldest temperatures in modern history and now we are watching it rain.
The fear is that it swings back below freezing tonight that all that water and slush into ice, making driving dangerous.
Kent County Road Commission official Jerry Byrne says residents should try to clear storm drains if they can, to prevent localized flooding.
That’s good advice throughout West Michigan. If storm sewer grates ramain covered by snow, there could be pooling on streets, which would create icy spots when it freezes.
