KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The freezing weather being experienced by west Michigan in the last few days is expected to ease up a bit by the weekend, but then it'll get cold again on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures dipped into the single digits on Thursday morning, and meteorologist Elliot Abrams says it's going to get worse on Friday, when it's expected to be yet colder.
However, there will be a bit of a break in the temperature on Saturday and Sunday, as air from the south blows in, bringing some stroing wind with it. Abrams says that there might also be snow over the weekend.
Abrams expects the bitterly cold temperatures to return on Sunday night, with a low of negative three predicted. Monday will bring the real cold temperatures, though, with a low predicted of eight degrees below zero.
