KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- An event this weekend at the Kalamazoo Public Library ties in with an exhibit at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. Discover Kalamazoo's Renee Newman says that the central branch of the library will have staff read classic children's stories this Saturday.
The event is part of the First Saturday program at the library, where something special goes on the first Saturday of every month for the family. This week, it's all about Wild Rumpus, with library staff reading selections currently featured at the KIA as part of the "Wild Rumpus" exhibit.
First Saturday events take place the first Saturday each month from two to four PM at the library. It's free to attend.
