LANSING (WKZO) -- A website is asking Michigan residents to submit pictures of the worst potholes they see. FixMIPotholes.com is run by Jon Hoadley, who's running for the Michigan House as a Democrat to replace State Representative Sean McCann.
Hoadley told MLive that FixMIPotholes is all about sending a message to lawmakers that more needs to be done to repair the state's roads. The site even gives visitors a chance to sign a petition demanding that the state legislature use a projected budget surplus to invest in the road system, instead of on a tax cut.
Hoadley thinks that Michigan spends far too little on froad repairs. The website is intended to serve as a good visual way of conveying that message.
