ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- Investigators reportedly linked one of the men accused in the death University of Michigan medical student Paul DeWolf through DNA evidence. The "Detroit Free Press" reports DeWolf's blood was found on the athletic shoes of Dajeon Franklin.
Police say Franklin gave the shoes to his former girlfriend to keep around the same time DeWolf was killed. Franklin, who has denied any connection to the murder, was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree home invasion last week.
DeWolf was found dead in his apartment July 24th by friends after he did not show up for work.
