ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- Now that one of the suspects in the murder of Schoolcraft native Paul DeWolf has cut a deal with prosecutors, they have moved to arrest and charge the third suspect,
Dejeon Franklin was identified in open court by co-defendant Shaquille Jones as the man who held the gun when DeWolf was shot. It may have been the final piece the prosecutor felt he needed to pursue charges.
The 21-year-old Franklin was already in custody on other charges and now faces five additional counts, including open murder, home invasion and felony firearms counts.
Police say Jones, Franklin and Joei Jordan all broke into a fraternity house to rob the place last July when they were confronted by DeWolf, a medical student at the University of Michigan.
DeWolf was shot and bled to death.
The trio stole his video game and sold it for $80.
Jordan is scheduled to be tried in May.
