FLAT ROCK (WKZO) -- Production of the latest generation of the Ford Mustang is officially underway.
The first 2015 Mustangs began rolling off the assembly line at Ford Motor Company's Flat Rock Assembly Thursday. Officials say the car will be sold in 120 countries for the first time in its 50-year history.
The automaker will produce right-hand drive Mustangs for 25 countries including the United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa. Over nine-million Mustangs have been sold in the past 50 years.
