KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Now on display at Kalamazoo Valley Museum, it's an exhibit on the cartoons of a west Michigan man. Discover Kalamazoo's Renee Newman says that Speed Bump -- The Work of Dave Coverly will be at the museum through September 21st.
"This Speed Bump, which is a single panel cartoon with local connections," Newman told WKZO. "He is a Kalamazoo area native, actually coming from Plainwell. In these cartoons, he reveals the truth of the human experience, and they are just funny, funny cartoons about everyday life."
All of the cartoons featured in the exhibit are explained by Coverly, and the display will also feature Coverly's illustrations for Sue MacDonald Had a Book, which was written by Ann Arbor's Jim Tobin. You can find out more about Speed Bump at the website of the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.
