DETROIT (WKZO) -- Nineteen schools in the state will share 114-million dollars from the federal School Improvement Grant. The schools will each get two-million a year for the next three years, with the goal of improving academic performance. Four of the schools are in Detroit with the rest in Ecorse, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Lincoln Park, Litchfield, Redford Township, River Rouge and Roseville.
