DETROIT (WKZO)- Justin Verlander has said he is ready to start Saturday vs the Minnesota Twins. However it has not been determined by manager Brad Ausmus if Verlander will start yet.
Verlander has been sidelined since August 9 with shoulder soreness. Verlander was taken out of the game vs the Yankees on August sixth after one inning of play.
Verlander holds a 10-11 record with a 4.76 ERA with 118 stikeouts over 158 2/3 innings of work this season.
